Travel Accommodations

We are so glad you are joining us in LA for our wedding! There will be events all weekend ramping up for the big day on Sunday. While there will not be formal events in the days immediately before and after our wedding, we would love to see you at some of our favorite spots while you are in town.

Hotels

We have booked a hotel block at AC Marriott Beverly Hills. This hotel is .5 miles from IKAR where we will have our aufruf on Saturday morning and 2.8 miles from the venue where we will all be together on Sunday afternoon. Those that book in our room block will get a group rate of $239/night (will come out to $289.67 with fees and tax). Our block is from Friday, January 23 - Monday, January 26 and if you are planning to extend your stay you can add up to 3 days before or after those dates on the same reservation at the group rate. If you are driving your own car parking on-site at the hotel and will be discounted to $48/night.

We are glad to share some other hotel options that might better meet your needs, however we we were unable to get a hotel block with these hotels.

Wilshire Crest is located just around the corner from the Marriott. They have non-electronic keys and Kosher breakfast.

Jackson Market and Deli is a cute market and deli in Culver City, near our venue. There are several Airbnb rentals on the property.

Banana Bungalow is a more affordable option with less big hotel vibes. There are private room and shared room options.

Getting to LA

The closest airports to fly into and out of are Burbank Airport (BUR) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Burbank is a much smaller airport and will have fewer flight options.

Public transportation is available to and from both airports, but is not the most convenient from where we are located. The most efficient way to get to and from the airport will be ride share services (Uber/Lyft) which range about $40-50.

If you are interested in taking public transportation to/from the airport reach out to Rachel who can help you plan your route.

Getting Around LA

LA is known as the city of cars, and this is very true.  Most people will drive to all of the locations listed here, and Ubers and Lyfts (and Waymos!) are very available. If you are driving your own vehicle, please pay close attention to parking signs - parking restrictions are plentiful and confusing, especially in our neighborhood.

Despite rumors, public transit is also an accessible part of our neighborhood. The LA Metro 217 bus is a great way to get from the AC Marriott to our venue (SmogShoppe), and fare is only $1.75. Google maps is an excellent resource for accurate directions and time tables, and pay your fare using the TAP app or bring exact change.

This neighborhood is also very walkable and many of the "sites" we have included are within a 2 mile radius.

Things to Do In LA

You can find at least one of us here multiple times a week. Challenge yourself with some indoor rock climbing at Cliffs of Id, a spacious and modern climbing gym perfect for all skill levels. You can enjoy bouldering and/or top roping.
